Innovative mix of law and technology at the Cyber Security Summer School 2016

At the Cyber Security Summer School on "Digital Forensics — Technology and Law" in July 2016 Stephen Mason (widely acknowledged specialist in the field of electronic evidence, barrister and Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Advanced Legal Studies) gave a paper, acted as a mentor and presented an international moot on the lines of electronic evidence.

The Cyber Security Summer School is a research-focused yet practical interdisciplinary summer school mainly targeting PhD students and junior researchers of computer science and law.

This year’s summer school (held in Tallinn, Estonia July3-8, 2016) brought together renowned experts and practitioners working simultaneously in the areas of law and information technology from around the world.

The event was organised by the Information Technology Foundation for Education in collaboration with Tallinn University of Technology, University of Tartu and The University of Adelaide and supported by Estonian Ministry of Education and Research.
