Sir William Dale Centre for Legislative Studies to take part in the 9th Session of the World Urban Forum

The Sir William Dale Centre for Legislative Studies will take part in the 9th Session of the World Urban Forum  ‘Cities 2030, Cities for all: Implementing the New Urban Agenda’ to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from February 7th-13th 2018. The Centre will contribute with a training event titled ‘Building skills to design good urban policies and legislation’.

The training event addresses stakeholders involved in the implementation of the New Urban Agenda (local authorities, governments, urban planners etc.) and aims to:

  • a) build their understanding around the need for urban legislation of good quality
  • b) raise awareness on the features of 'good' urban laws and
  • c) equip them with practical skills to design good urban laws.

Dr. Maria Mousmouti will deliver the training.
