One of the most rewarding features of being part of the training programme is the chance to get to know the other trainees and to share impressions and experiences. Some trainees have already had experience of working in a library before starting the training programme. Others have recently finished university or have decided on a career change. The diversity of trainees who come to London is also a bonus of our programme: in 2008/09 trainees came from countries such as England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy and Switzerland.
Most of the trainees have written a trainee profile which give an interesting insight in their background, their experiences as a trainee and their future prospects.
