It is normally possible to "download" or "export" or "save to disk" materials from services on the Library's computers. Procedures for downloading depend on the service you are using. Most of the services are Windows-based with appropriate "save" options on the "File" pull-down menu. Some services also include special buttons for export options. In general, you MUST ALWAYS: ensure you are using a USB memory stick or compatible disk, select the drive assigned to you USB or disk and specify a filename of your choice. There is a "Saved Files" folder on each workstation PC may be used temporarily to handle larger documents. NB Data saved to folders on the hard disk will be removed regularly. Please be sure to safely remove your USB memory stick or disk after use.
