General areas to browse in the the library

Most EU materials are shelved on the 3rd Floor in the Library.
Books are shelved at shelf marks beginning GO1.A1.., GO1.A6.., and GO1.A8..
The Official Journal of the European Communities (OJ) is shelved at FOL GO1.A1.E(a)2.
European Court Reports (Reports of cases before the Court of Justice and the Court of First Instance) are shelved at GO1.A1.G(a)1

Remember to check the FOL sections in the Library also, for large size material.

A number of core texts are shelved in the Short Loan collection. Check the Library Catalogue for details.

These examples provide a link to the full text as published on Eur-Lex, the EU law portal.  But please note that the treaties, secondary legislation, and many Commission documents are also included in full on the CELEX database, which you can find in Justis.Com, Lexis and Westlaw .

COM documents are documents from the EU Commission, and include proposals on legislation, views on policy, and annual reports.  Many COM documents are available on EUR-Lex, Justis.Com, Lexis and Westlaw.
