The Collected Courses of the Hague Academy of International Law are part of the Recueil des cours de l'Académie de Droit International de la Haye. This is available as part of the IALS subscription to BrillOnline.
The Collected Courses of the Hague Academy of International Law are available onsite and offsite to all IALS staff, fellows and students, SAS staff, fellows and students (other than IALS), University of London law staff and postgraduate students and IALS Library academic members.
The Hague Academy of International Law is a global centre for research and teaching of public and private international law. Each year the Academy arranges a course for lawyers, at which international law scholars present lectures and seminars. These are made available online from 1923 onwards in the Collected Courses. The courses are available in a mixture of English and French.
It is possible to browse the courses by volume or by author. It is also possible to browse a list of keywords, in both English and French.
There is a basic and advanced search facility available across the Brill platform. To restrict the search, choose Collected Courses of the Hague Academy of International Law from the field labelled ‘This Title’ under the advanced search options. Boolean search operators should be typed in upper case.
Printing, downloading and emailing
Documents are available to view as PDF’s in the browser. Once opened at a PDF, they can also be downloaded or printed by clicking the relevant icon.
