Tuition Fees

Fees are set annually and cover registration, tuition and, in the case of research students, supervision.

Part-time fees are quoted per annum -- that is, you will need to pay at least the fee quoted below for each year of your studies. Please remember also to account for the fact that fees may be subject to an annual increase.

London Arts and Humanities Partnership

IALS is part of the School of Advanced Study, which participates in the London Arts and Humanities Partnership (LAHP) funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), through which it offers a number of research studentships in humanities disciplines.

The AHRC-funded London Arts and Humanities Partnership offers studentships in four areas:

  • History, Thought & Belief - this includes studies in history, philosophy, religious studies, development studies, political science, and law.
  • Creative & Performing Arts
  • Cultures & Heritage
  • Languages & Literature

Applications for LAHP research studentships will open on 1st December 2016 for studentships starting in October 2017: http://www.lahp.ac.uk

The School of Advanced Study provides information on a range of bursaries, scholarships, grants and awards on offer for doctoral degrees and other sources of external funding sources for EU and overseas students.
