To continue to stay safe during the pandemic, IALS Library will keep COVID-19 rules in place beyond Mon 19 July 2021 until further notice.
Keeping Study Spaces Safe
The Government recently announced the easing of restrictions in England from Monday 19 July 2021 . Due to the nature of the Library spaces, IALS Library will keep COVID-19 rules in place beyond Monday 19 July until further notice in order to keep members and study spaces as safe as possible during the pandemic.
We're proud to have been able to keep essential Library services running throughout the pandemic and the success of this is due to maintaining COVID-19 rules and systems. We appreciate Library members support in continuing to follow these rules beyond Monday 19 July to ensure a safe study environment for all.
The onsite book a study desk system will be kept in place to manage numbers onsite and we ask members to continue to:
- Stay alert: check @IALS Library & the website for the latest updates before travel
- Always maintain social distancing when seated & moving around the building
- Face coverings to be worn at all times in all Library spaces unless exempt*
- Everyday kindness: collaborate with staff to calmly respond to changes that ensure your safety
*We strongly encourage those that are exempt from wearing a face covering to display an exemption badge and/or a card on your booked study space desk.
