Erasmus Mundus Funding to Develop a Joint Master’s Degree

The Institute of Advanced Legal Studies has been successful in an application for Erasmus Mundus funding to develop a joint Master’s Degree in Parliamentary Procedures and Legislative Drafting.  The joint degree has been developed in partnership with the Centre for Parliamentary Studies and the School of Government at LUISS Guido Carli University (Rome) and the Parliamentary Law Institute of Complutense University (Madrid).


The overall maximum budget for this programme is 1,825,000 Euros. The partners hope to welcome their first students in October 2016. Dr Constantin Stefanou, Director of Taught Programmes at IALS said: “I am delighted to have led this project from our side and I look forward to collaborating with our partners in Spain and Italy. In addition to the joint LLM this project allows the IALS and the SAS to lead in a newly developed European research agenda.”
