Each year the librarians at IALS take to the road to speak to academics and PhD researchers at law schools all across the United Kingdom. The purpose of the road shows is to highlight the Library’s world class collections, services, and online databases and other tools to the academic research community at large.

The session lasts around 1.5 hours and includes presentations and demonstrations of free research tools including BAILII, FLAG, Eagle-i, Current Legal Research Topics and more. We also give the opportunity to sign up for a Library Card on the day. Don’t forget that if you are a law PhD student or university academic then the IALS Library is your Library – we are funded to be the national research library for law. If you would like us to come to your law school in 2017 to explain more about what we can offer you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – we would love to hear from you.
