Description


This one day Workshop is aimed at academics in law schools at all career stages. We will explore a range of issues related to academic career development, including the various career development tracks (teaching, research, scholarship, enterprise); promotion processes and the challenges for the discipline of law; managing expectations in relation to career progression; role modelling; management succession planning; career development and wellbeing; the law school as a business; models of law school leadership. We will also consider how CHULS can support academic career development, for example, through online resources and mentoring.
