The seminar will review recent developments in economic crime and asset recovery in the UK and Europe with the opportunity for discussion and debate about potential developments. The event will be an hybrid event with some participants joining by zoom.

2022 has been a busy year in the field of economic crime with two major pieces of legislative reform tabled by the UK Government. Europe has also been active with a new proposed Directive on asset recovery and confiscation and a proposal to establish a dedicated Anti Money Laundering Authority.
