Mentees
Eligibility
Individuals currently pursuing a PhD, DPhil, or JD, or who are within seven years of having completed their degree, with due accommodation for career breaks, who are actively carrying out research in Law and the Humanities, are eligible to apply.
Selections will be based on the applicant’s potential contribution to Law and the Humanities and boundary-pushing research, while also taking account of structural disadvantages they may be facing.
To apply
Please submit this form by July 31 prior to the academic year for which you would wish to be considered. The application portal will close after the deadline, and reopen for the next year's round on May 15, 2026.
Decisions will be made by September 30.

You will have the opportunity to agree to the pairing before commencing. Once agreed, it is your responsibility to organize the mentoring meetings at times suitable to your mentor and you. Please also note our recommendations here.
It is important that you define and communicate your goals for the mentoring relationship to your mentor, openly reflect on insights offered with a view to developing as a scholar of Law and the Humanities, and be prepared to generously share what you have gained and help others in our interdiscipline in the future.
